Removal of couperose and capillary clots

60150

The Elos Plus procedure is based on a combination of light and radiofrequency energy. The procedure is a safe and effective measure for the treatment and removal of red capillaries.

Description

Capillary blemishes, kuuperrosa, are one of the most worrying skin concerns for many. The tiny dilated blood vessels (capillaries) that bulge through the skin can appear as individual red ribs, spots or a cupule. To achieve an even complexion and healthy skin, we use Elos Plus laser treatment in our clinic. The Elos Plus procedure is based on a combination of light and radiofrequency energy. Prior to the procedure, a beauty specialist will do a preliminary assessment, evaluate the skin condition and determine the appropriate setting for the procedure. Hyperpigmentation folds darken and blood vessels change colour after the procedure. Smaller blood vessels may disappear immediately. When the blood vessels are removed from the face, there may be some slight hyperaemia (excess blood), which passes quickly. The procedure is well tolerated by patients. The patient will feel slight stiffness during the procedure, which will pass quickly.

Procedure info:

Avoid tanning and the use of self-tanning creams before the procedure. The procedure is not performed on tanned skin. A period of 3 months should have elapsed since any chemical peel or surgical procedure. We recommend that you come to the procedure with clean skin, without the use of creams, perfume or make-up. The procedure is well tolerated and our specialist will do their best to ensure that the procedure is safe and effective.

After the procedure:

There may be some slight redness after the procedure, which will pass within an hour. In less common cases, swelling of the under-eye area may occur the following day, which usually resolves within 1-3 days. It is necessary to drink plenty of water after the procedure. After the procedure, it is important to protect the treated area from the sun. Use a broad spectrum sunscreen with SPF 30 or higher and avoid direct sunlight for up to 7 days after the procedure.

Care of the treated skin: follow the specialist's instructions for skin care after the procedure exactly. Avoid harsh cosmetic products, chemical peels or abrasive products until the skin is fully healed. Apply a moisturizing cream or soothing gel to keep the skin hydrated and support the recovery process.

Recommended course of procedures:

A course of treatments can last from 4 to 6 sessions, usually 4 to 6 weeks apart. This gives the skin time to recover and allows you to see a gradual improvement after each session. However, the number of sessions and the intervals between sessions may vary from person to person, depending on the condition of your capillaries and the effects of the treatment.

What can be combined with the procedure?

Procedures can be combined with many of our other treatments such as mesotherapy, bio-revitalisation, plasma therapy, pHformula treatments and home facials. Our Beauty Specialist will give you plenty of information during the procedure.
