- Avoid sunbathing and tanning beds for at least 7 days
- Use SPF 30+ sunscreen daily
- Avoid saunas, hot showers, and heavy sweating for 24–48 hours
- Do not use retinol, acid peels, or mechanical exfoliants for at least 7 days
- Skin may appear slightly red, tight, or flaky – this is a normal reaction
